Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Claire Owens, who scored ten points along with six rebounds. Those ten points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Payton Rumley, who scored six points along with 12 rebounds.
Laurence Manning Academy now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Christian Academy, their victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-2.
Laurence Manning Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Holly Hill Academy at 6:15 p.m. on January 3, 2024. Christian Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hannah-Pamplico at 6:00 p.m. on December 28th.
