Catalina Foothills faced ALA - Queen Creek in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. Catalina Foothills fell 2-0 to ALA - Queen Creek. The Falcons' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Their offense was headlined by Jacob Martinez and Dylan Rubio, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Kyle Senkerik and his 14 assists. Julian Merheb controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Catalina Foothills' defeat dropped their record down to 15-9. As for ALA - Queen Creek, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.
