The Linn Wildcats pushed their score all the way to 62 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They received a tough blow as they fell 77-62 to Centralia. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Friday (58), Linn still had to take the loss.
Despite the loss, Linn still got an impressive performance from Noah Hall, who scored 28 points along with five rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hall has scored all season. Seth Wolfe was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six rebounds.
Linn has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season. As for Centralia, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
Linn will be playing in front of their home fans against Eugene at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Eugene presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Linn in Missouri (Eugene is ranked 34th, while Linn is ranked 300th). Centralia on the road again on Tuesday and play against Brookfield at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th.
