There's no place like home for the Baker County Wildcats, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Monday. They breezed by Union County at home to the tune of 50-13. The squad ran away with 40 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the win.
Baker County got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Natalia Strachan out in front who scored 12 points along with 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Yamise Haygood, who scored 10 points along with 6 assists and 4 steals.
The victory got Baker County back to even at 1-1. As for Union County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Baker County will take on Clay at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Union County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against The Rock at 6:00 p.m. on December 7th.
