Basketball Recap: Frontier School of Excellence Falls Despite Big Games from Jakeem Davis and Henry Uti

It was fun while it lasted, but Frontier School of Excellence's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Tuesday. They fell 51-38 to The Daniel Academy Lions. Frontier School of Excellence was not able to make up for their defeat to The Daniel Academy from their previous meeting back in January.

Despite the loss, Frontier School of Excellence had strong showings from Henry Uti, who posted nine points in addition to six steals and five boards, and Jakeem Davis, who put up ten points along with seven rebounds and five steals. Uti is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Grayes, who had six points in addition to five boards and three steals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Frontier School of Excellence fell to 3-1. As for The Daniel Academy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Frontier School of Excellence wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 55-53 win against Ozanam on the 12th. As for The Daniel Academy, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Frontier School of Excellence at 6:30 p.m. on January 13, 2025.
