The win made it two in a row for Wren and bumps their season record up to 12-6. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Powdersville, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.
Coming up, Wren will be playing at home against Greenville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Powdersville, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on J.L. Mann at 6:30 p.m. on the 30th.
