It was fun while it lasted, but Los Banos's undefeated season came to an end after six games on Tuesday. They fell 69-62 to the Johansen Vikings. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Fidel Rodriguez, who posted 11 points and eight rebounds. Eric Ramos was another key player, putting up 11 points and three steals.
It was another big night for Ivan Martinez, who put up 19 points for Johansen. The team also got some help courtesy of Wilbert Gaxiola, who had 14 points.
