FAMU DRS was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Chiles Timberwolves 78-46. Despite the loss, FAMU DRS still got an impressive performance from Jacquez Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. Those 11 boards gave Johnson a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Oriyon Jefferson, who posted six points.

FAMU DRS's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Chiles, their victory bumped their record up to 11-9.
FAMU DRS wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 82-51 win against Tallavana Christian on the 25th. Chiles has also already played their next matchup, a 78-50 defeat against Florida State University High School on the 25th.
