After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Lisbon finally came back down to earth on Friday. They lost 8-1 to Clear Lake. Lisbon's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Lisbon's loss dropped their record down to 13-4. As for Clear Lake, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 12-6.

Lisbon didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 16-8 defeat against Highland on the 19th. As for Clear Lake, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, an 8-7 loss against Columbus Catholic on the 19th.
