The Bluff Dale Bobcats lost against the Lingleville Cardinals back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Bluff Dale took a hard 35-18 fall against Lingleville. Bluff Dale has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Allie Morris and Nicole Morris certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Morris scored ten points along with six steals, while Morris scored eight points. Morris scored a full 55.6% of Bluff Dale's points, the 12th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Bluff Dale's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Lingleville, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-7.
Bluff Dale will head out on the road to face off against Huckabay at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Huckabay presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Bluff Dale in Texas (Huckabay is ranked 264th, while Bluff Dale is ranked 1246th). Lingleville will be home for the holidays to greet Three Way at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Three Way comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
