The Drury Blue Devils will head out to take on the Lenox Memorial Millionaires at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Drury will come into the game with an undefeated record on the line.
Drury will bounce into Monday's match after beating Wahconah Regional, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Blue Devils blew past the Warriors 11-0 on Friday. The Blue Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by ten runs or more this season.
Lucas Rylander made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Rylander was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with one home run.

In other batting news, Julian Faliciano was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Faliciano is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. Noah Arnold was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
Drury always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .605. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wahconah Regional only posted an OBP of .211.
Meanwhile, the third road game was the charm for Lenox Memorial, as they earned their first away win of the season. They came out on top against Turners Falls by a score of 7-4 on Friday.
Like Drury, Lenox Memorial also got a great game from a two-way player: Seamus Cooney. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. Cooney was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.
Cooney wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Jack Hicks, who went 2-for-4 with three runs.
Drury pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average this season. As for Lenox Memorial, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Lenox Memorial's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Drury hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .395. It's a different story for Lenox Memorial, though, as they've only averaged .220. Will they be able to contain Drury's hitters?
Drury was able to grind out a solid victory over Lenox Memorial in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, winning 5-0. Do the Blue Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Millionaires turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
