After only seven points in their last matchup, Castle made sure to put some points up on the board against Evansville Central on Friday. The Knights claimed a resounding 42-7 win over the Bears. The victory continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Bears: they've now won five in a row.

Leading Castle to victory were Nolan McKinney and Boden Morgan. McKinney rushed for 124 yards and one score on only 14 carries, while Morgan rushed for 31 yards and three TDs. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Morgan a new career-high. Another big playmaker for Castle was Ben Quach, who returned a punt for a touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Castle was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 202 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Evansville Central only rushed for 97.

Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 12 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Quach, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Castle's record now sits at 6-2. As for Evansville Central, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Castle wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 37-7 defeat against Evansville Memorial on the 17th. As for Evansville Central, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 47-7 loss against Evansville North on the 17th.
