Edison has gone 8-2 against Highlands recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Tuesday. Edison will be playing in front of their home fans against Highlands  at 7:00  p.m. Edison is coming into the  game hot, having won their last four games.
Edison's pitching crew heads into the  matchup  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Friday. They came out on top against Brackenridge by a score of  4-0.

Not much got past  Luis Garcia Smith, who gave up just  six  hits and racked up ten Ks to keep Brackenridge off the board. That's the most  strikeouts  Garcia Smith has posted since back in February.
 On the hitting side,  Samaad Bunch was  excellent,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3. He is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last five games he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Hector Narvaez, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, Highlands had to endure  a  four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on Sam Houston with a sharp  13-0 win on Saturday. The  contest marked the Owls' most dominant  victory of the  season.
 Zaydin Rivera made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. That's the fewest  hits  he has allowed since back in March of 2024. He was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-2. He also put up an  RBI, which was his first of the season.
 In other batting news,  Jaime Zendejas and  Jose Villasenor did most of the damage at the plate:  Zendejas  went 2-for-3 with two  triples, three  RBI,  and two  runs, while  Villasenor  scored two  runs while going 3-for-3. Those  hits were  Zendejas' first of the season.  Jose Parga was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
 Highlands  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .567. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
 Highlands' win bumped their record up to 3-11-1. As for Edison, their victory bumped their record up to 10-4.
 Edison took their  win against Highlands  in their previous meeting  back in April of 2024 by a conclusive  13-2. Does  Edison have another victory up their sleeve, or will Highlands turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
