Tuloso-Midway took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They took down the Corpus Christi Moody Trojans 28-14. The score was all tied up 7-7 at the break, but the Warriors & Cherokees were the (much) better team in the second half.

Burdick Jr. also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack, forcing a fumble, and making nine total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Tuloso-Midway was moving up and down the field and finished the game with 412 total yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Corpus Christi Moody only gained 250.
Although Corpus Christi Moody took the loss, they still got scores from Romeo Castillo and Dylan Prado.
Tuloso-Midway will be playing in front of their home fans against Ray at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have been evenly matched recently as the teams are 3-3 against one another since October of 2016. As for Corpus Christi Moody, they will challenge Cigarroa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Corpus Christi Moody is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
