Randolph-Henry suffered their biggest loss since December 6, 2023 on Monday. They were dealt a 46-18 defeat at the hands of Rustburg.
Meanwhile, Lunenburg Central was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 53-49 to Prince Edward County. It was the first time this season that Lunenburg Central let down their fans at home.
Randolph-Henry's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Lunenburg Central, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4.
Randolph-Henry came up short against Lunenburg Central in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 41-29. Can Randolph-Henry avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
