At the plate, Emmie Rice was cooking despite her team's loss, firing off two home runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Audrey Likins was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.
Hazard now has a winning record of 2-1. As for South Laurel, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
