After a string of three wins, the Warren Warriors's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They were beaten by Jones 59-32.
Despite the loss, Warren still got an impressive performance from Lewis Petty, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds. Petty scored a full 56.3% of Warren's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jerrod Yeagin, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds.
Warren's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Jones, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 7-9 record this season.
Warren is on the road again on Saturday and play against Calallen at 2:15 p.m. on December 30, 2023. Jones and Ingleside will face off at 12:00 p.m. on December 30, 2023 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Ingleside is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.
