Rochelle is 0-10 against Ottawa since May of 2019 but things could change on Monday. The Hubs will welcome the Pirates at 4:30 p.m. Ottawa took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Rochelle, who comes in off a win.
Rochelle took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They never let Lutheran get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. That 15 run margin sets a new team best for the Hubs this season.
Lauren Dyer was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, seven RBI, and one double. Those seven RBI gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Mya Martinez was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cheyenne Somers, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.
Rochelle always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .733. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for Ottawa's offense. They fell just short of Dunlap by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. The Pirates' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.
Ottawa's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Rochelle, their victory bumped their record up to 5-13.
