On Friday, Loveland came up short against Legacy and fell 64-54. Loveland has struggled against Legacy recently, as their match on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Thompson Valley put the finishing touches on their sixth blowout victory of the season on Thursday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 77-47 victory over Skyline. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Thompson Valley has posted since December 5, 2023.
Loveland has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Thompson Valley, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.
Loveland came out on top in a nail-biter against Thompson Valley in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, sneaking past 65-62. The rematch might be a little tougher for Loveland since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
