Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sequoyah). They blew past the McMinn County Cherokees 14-4 on Tuesday. The win was familiar territory for the Chiefs, who have now won four contests in a row.
Kaliegh Atchley made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
