Italy won the last time they faced Wortham and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Italy Gladiators simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Wortham Bulldogs 60-19. The Gladiators have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 23 points or more this season.

Landry Janek went supernova for Italy, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 11 boards. That's the most rebounds Janek has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Camdyn Owen, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 boards.

Italy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 26 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in four consecutive matches.

Italy's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-9. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.0 points per game. As for Wortham, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

Italy will square off against Hubbard at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Wortham, they will face off against Mildred at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
