Valor Christian put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their match with ease, bagging a 42-14 victory over the Mullen Mustangs. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-7.

Mullen's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mason Bonner, who picked up 119 receiving yards and one score. Bonner also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making one tackle.
Valor Christian's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Mullen, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
