Tulpehocken is 1-9 against Antietam since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Tulpehocken Trojans will be home for the holidays to greet the Antietam Mountaineers at 7:30 p.m. Tulpehocken is out to stop a 14-game streak of losses at home dating back to last season.
Last Saturday, Tulpehocken had to suffer through a rough 59-31 loss at the hands of Conrad Weiser. Tulpehocken has struggled against Conrad Weiser recently, as their contest on Saturday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Loss or not, Tulpehocken got some senior leadership from Lucas Werner who scored ten points along with six rebounds and three steals and Seth Palm-Rittle who scored six points along with seven rebounds. Werner also posted two blocks for the first time this season.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Antietam beat Palisades 44-39 on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Antietam.
Tulpehocken's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Antietam, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.
Tulpehocken ended up a good deal behind Antietam in their previous matchup back in January, losing 58-44. Can Tulpehocken avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
