The Alcona Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Oscoda Owls at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Alcona is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games.
Last Friday, Alcona sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 40-37 win over the Hurons.
David Sharboneau went supernova for Alcona, scoring 15 points. Cayden Hebert was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Oscoda didn't have too much trouble with the Eagles at home two weeks ago as they won 45-26. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Oscoda.
Alcona's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.1 points per game. As for Oscoda, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
Alcona was able to grind out a solid win over the Owls when the teams last played back in January, winning 47-36. Will Alcona repeat their success, or do the Owls have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
