The Hunter College Hawks will be home for the holidays to greet the Randolph Campus Cougars at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Hunter College has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while Randolph Campus will arrive with four straight wins.
Last Wednesday, Hunter College came up short against Math Science & Engineering and fell 40-33.
Despite their defeat, Hunter College saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Noah Kay, who scored nine points along with ten rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. Kay has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Andrew Choy, who scored three points along with nine steals.
Meanwhile, Randolph Campus scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They breezed by Environmental at home to the tune of 81-46. Randolph Campus might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won three matches by 20 points or more this season.
Hunter College's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Randolph Campus, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.
