The Rough Riders breezed past the Torres Toros to the tune of 46-14 for which the team can thank Idoni, who rushed for 206 yards and four scores on only 13 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his ninth straight game with at least 100 rushing yards dating back to last season.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Roosevelt's defense and their four sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece. Julian Maldonado was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making seven total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Roosevelt's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Torres, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

As for Torres, they will venture away from home to square off against McLane at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Highlanders' defense has only allowed 3.4 points per game this season, so the Toros' offense will have their work cut out for them.
