Emmanuel Christian Academy relied on the efforts of Pheoby Hamastra, who had 40 digs and three assists, and Mya Lawrence, who had 12 digs and five aces. That's the most digs Hamastra has posted since back in September. Piper Willetts was another key player, getting ten digs.

Meanwhile, Miami Valley came up short against Triad on Monday, falling 3-0.

Miami Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Emmanuel Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 12-8.
