Emmanuel Christian Academy relied on the efforts of Pheoby Hamastra, who had 40 digs and three assists, and Mya Lawrence, who had 12 digs and five aces. That's the most digs Hamastra has posted since back in September. Piper Willetts was another key player, getting ten digs.
They weren't the only good servers: Emmanuel Christian Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They are a perfect 11-0 when they serve at least ten aces.
Meanwhile, Miami Valley came up short against Triad on Monday, falling 3-0.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-3, 25-3, 25-4.
Miami Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Emmanuel Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 12-8.
