Volleyball Recap: Desert Vista Has No Trouble Against Westwood

Desert Vista not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 4th (when they won 3-0). They blew past the Westwood Warriors 3-0. The Thunder haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

One reason for the win was Desert Vista's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-20, 25-14.

Desert Vista's victory bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Westwood, they dropped their record down to 12-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Desert Vista didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Marana on the 17th. After both having extra time off, Westwood and Mountain View will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
