The Lincoln Christian Bulldogs put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 55-16 win over Locust Grove on the road. The result was nothing new for Lincoln Christian, who have now won nine matches by 22 points or more so far this season.
Luke Milligan looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 149 yards and four touchdowns while completing 100% of his passes. Moses Fullingim also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Lincoln Christian's win was their seventh straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 10-0. It's not like the team was facing easy opposition over that stretch either, as it included 8-2 Jones and 8-3 Muldrow (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 55.5% over those games). As for Locust Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.
Lincoln Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Bristow at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bristow will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings (they are ranked 111th, while Lincoln Christian is ranked fourth). Locust Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
