It was a good run, but Bartlett unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Francis Spartans. The Hawks were not able to make up for their loss to the Spartans from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Bartlett saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Vince Yario, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Austin Daubenmire also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Bartlett's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9-1. As for St. Francis, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Bartlett will venture away from home to face off against West Aurora at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Blackhawks will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Hawks surely won't give up without a fight. As for St. Francis, they will welcome Saint Viator at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
