Softball Recap: Cactus' Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four matches, Cactus finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They came up short against the Sahuarita Mustangs, falling 21-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Cobras have suffered since February 28th.

With the loss, Cactus broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-6. As for Sahuarita, their victory bumped their record up to 15-3.

Coming up, Cactus will face off against Deer Valley at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cobras will need to watch out since the Skyhawks have now posted at least ten runs in their last five contests. As for Sahuarita, they will challenge Mountain View at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mountain Lions will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight.
