For the first time this season, Llano will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will be playing in front of their home fans against the Comfort Bobcats/Deer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Llano is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5 runs per game this season.
On Friday, Llano made easy work of Navarro and carried off an 18-6 win. The result was nothing new for the Yellowjackets, who have now won six contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Jaci Smith
| 03/06/26 @ Navarro | 6 |
| 04/17/25 @ Brady | 4 |
| 02/27/26 vs Ballinger | 2 |
| 02/13/26 vs Junction | 2 |
| 02/26/26 vs Sonora | 1 |
The team relied heavily on Jaci Smith, who went 3-for-4 with six RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Madison Whittenburg, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with three runs, two RBI, and one double.
Llano always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .575. They are 6-2 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, Comfort lost 16-6 to Hondo on Friday.
Mariah McCullough and Anna Munoz did some serious damage despite the final result: McCullough went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI, while Munoz went a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. That home run marked the first that McCullough has launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kippy Sterling, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
Comfort has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season. As for Llano, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Llano has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.6 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Comfort struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.1 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Llano got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in March of 2025 against Comfort by a conclusive 17-1 score. Do the Yellowjackets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bobcats/Deer turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
