The Hayfork Timberjacks can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent game on Thursday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 75-46 win over Dunsmuir. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Hayfork has posted since December 14, 2023.
Hayfork's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Daniel Kasper, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds. That's the first time this season that Kasper scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tatem Wiley, who scored 14 points.
When it comes to explaining why Dunsmuir lost, one person who can't be blamed is Michael Kellar. Despite the final result, he scored 32 points along with three steals and two blocks. That was a full 69.6% of Dunsmuir's points, marking the ninth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Hayfork has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Dunsmuir, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.
