Baseball Recap: Lovejoy Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Lovejoy entered their tilt with Sherman on Friday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They never let the Bearcats get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. Considering the Leopards have won ten games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Lovejoy's victory bumped their record up to 22-5. As for Sherman, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-20-1.

Coming up, Lovejoy will take on Celina at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Leopards 2.5, the Bobcats 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned. Sherman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
