Volleyball Recap: South's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Laramie, South was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Douglas Patriots.

While South won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-21.

South's victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4. As for Douglas, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-10.

Looking ahead, South will be taking part in a tournament against Lead-Deadwood at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Douglas, they will venture away from home to challenge Custer at 2:15 p.m. on Friday.
