Fremont barely beat Mountain Crest the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Fremont put the hurt on Mountain Crest with a sharp  14-4 victory on Thursday. The  win was a breath of fresh air for the Silverwolves as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
 Adee Johnsen was a major factor no matter where she played. She  tossed six innings while giving up  four earned runs off   six  hits. Johnsen was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with two  RBI.

 In other batting news, Fremont got a  massive  performance out of  Cara Henrie, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4. Those  three  hits gave  Henrie a new career-high.  Jessica Broadbent was another key player,  going 1-for-4 with one  home run and five  RBI.
 Fremont was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .438. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mountain Crest only posted a  batting average of  .273.
Fremont picked up their first road  victory, bumping their record up to 2-10. As for Mountain Crest, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record  this season.
 Fremont will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Farmington at 3:30  p.m.  on April 8. As for Mountain Crest, they are taking a road trip to  challenge West Field  at 3:30  p.m.  on Friday. Mountain Crest's pitchers better be ready for this one: West Field has averaged an impressive 10.5  runs per game this season.
