The biggest upset of the week belonged to Paloma Valley, who took down 86th ranked Paloma Valley, 31-28. Allan Stubbs ran for 237 yards and caught one passes for 15 yards in the win.
Elsinore moved up to 103 from 151 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Sunbelt. The Tigers were able to make the jump by beating the Wildcats 31-28.
Paloma Valley's dynamic duo of Brent Boehm and David Solis proved tough for Elsinore to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Boehm threw for 298 yards and two touchdowns and Solis had 136 yards receiving. CJ Parker helped Paloma Valley's passing attack out by catching four balls for 59 yards.
Thanks to the talents of Boehm and Solis Bert Esposito's team has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Boehm leads the league in passing with 1088 yards, while Solis has rushed for 1027 yards this season. Perris's Jalen Lipscomb leads the league in receiving yards with 579 on 22 catches.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Temescal Canyon takes on Heritage. The Titans are in fourth place, while the Patriots are in second place.
Tony Peralta's team and the Wildcats played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Tony Peralta's team eventually emerging with a 31-28 victory. Stubbs in the win.
