Pace Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the Starr's Mill Panthers with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Knights sure are getting used to it with their 15th in a row.
Pace Academy can attribute much of their success to Britton McGurn, who had 13 assists and six digs. That's the most digs McGurn has posted over her last four matches.
Despite the loss, Starr's Mill still got an impressive performance from Sophia Olson, who had 14 digs and three assists. Olson is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last four games she's played.
