Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Darrington). They couldn't have asked for a better start to 2025 than the 80-45 blowout they got against the Lake Quinault Elks. The win was familiar territory for the Loggers who have now won three matches in a row.

The victory got Darrington back to even at 4-4. As for Lake Quinault, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Darrington will be playing in front of their home fans against Mount Vernon Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Darrington has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Lake Quinault, they and Concrete will face off at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
