The Fort Wayne Snider Panthers will head out to square off against the Fort Wayne Northrop Bruins at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Fort Wayne Snider is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.2 points per game this season.

Fort Wayne Snider saw some tournament action last Saturday. The contest between them and Valparaiso didn't end well, with Fort Wayne Snider falling 59-41. The Panthers were down 53-26 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Gabriella Barnes, who posted 11 points. Those 11 points gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyra Parker, who earned ten points.

Meanwhile, Fort Wayne Northrop was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 69-64 heartbreaker at the hands of Whitko.

This is the second loss in a row for Fort Wayne Snider and nudges their season record down to 9-7. As for Fort Wayne Northrop, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.

Fort Wayne Snider didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Fort Wayne Northrop when the teams last played back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with a 64-60 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Fort Wayne Northrop's Lexi Castator, who went 8 for 13 on her way to 34 points and eight rebounds.
