Mountain View has gone a perfect 10-0 against Dobson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Toros will head out to challenge the Mustangs at 3:45 p.m. One thing working in Mountain View's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups.
Mountain View barely beat Chandler the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Toros put the hurt on the Wolves with a sharp 11-3 win on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Toros in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won five in a row.
Daniella Gloria was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

In other batting news, Keelie Goodman and Kylynn Sylvester did most of the damage at the plate: Goodman got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base, while Sylvester went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Those two doubles gave Goodman a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Autumn Lavit, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.
Mountain View kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 12 hits in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Dobson lost 16-5 to Tolleson on Saturday. The defeat continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Wolverines: they've now lost three in a row.
Lilly Flick made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Nikole Torres, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one run.
Mountain View's record is now 10-7. As for Dobson, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
Everything went Mountain View's way against Dobson in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, as Mountain View made off with a 26-0 win. Do the Toros have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
