Mission Bay moved up to 65 from 96 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Western. The Buccaneers climbed the ranks as a result of losing to St. Augustine 49-0.
Mission Bay lost to the Saints 49-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
La Jolla's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Vikings feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Collin Rugg has thrown for 2,324 yards and 24 touchdowns this season, while Nic Skala has 66 catches for 761 yards.
Willie Matson's team made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 586 from 923. The advance stemmed from a 49-0 victory over the Buccaneers last week.
