Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tunstall). They came out on top against the Gretna Hawks by a score of 62-54 on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Trojans sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Gretna lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Shakira Jones, who went 9 for 20 on her way to 24 points and seven rebounds. Jones' evening made it seven games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Chinara Miller was another key player, going 5 of 11 on her way to 13 points.

Tunstall's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.3 points per game. As for Gretna, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-2 record.

After both having extra time off, Tunstall and Dan River will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025. As for Gretna, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 50-44 victory against Brookville on the 20th.
