The Raleigh HomeSchool Hawks will head out on the road to face off against the Cary Academy Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Raleigh HomeSchool will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 536th, while Cary Academy is ranked 138th).
Back in January, it was a hard-fought match, but Raleigh HomeSchool had to settle for a 48-45 defeat against Wake County Academy HomeSchool.
Even though Cary Academy has not done well against Ravenscroft recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Cary Academy walked away with a 66-57 win over Ravenscroft. The win made it back-to-back wins for Cary Academy.
Raleigh HomeSchool dropped their record down to 1-8 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Cary Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 13-9.
Raleigh HomeSchool couldn't quite finish off Cary Academy in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 and fell 65-63. Can Raleigh HomeSchool avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
