The West Panthers stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past East 82-30 on the road. While fans of West might be used to big wins, the 52-point margin marked the team's biggest win yet this season.
Leading West to victory were Fina Tuha and Kylee Falatea. Tuha dropped a triple-double on 14 points, 11 rebounds, and ten assists, while Falatea dropped a double-double on 23 points and 12 steals. It was the first time this season that Tuha posted eight or more assists. Another player making a difference was Kaydence Falatea, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
West has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for East, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.
West will head out on the road to square off against Skyline at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Skyline has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for East, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Olympus at 7:00 p.m. on February 13th. Hopefully Olympus focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Friday.
