Williamson is 1-9 against Cowanesque Valley since May of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Warriors will venture away from home to challenge the Indians at 4:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Williamson is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Sayre 15-2 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Kenna Thomas was excellent, going 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexi Smalley, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.
Williamson was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Cowanesque Valley got themselves on the board against Cameron County on Wednesday, but Cameron County never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Raiders with a sharp 23-0 win. The matchup marked the Indians' most dominant victory of the season.
Emma Carl was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Zeraya Wilson, who went 1-for-3 with three runs and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Lilah LaBarron, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs and two RBI.
Williamson's record is now 7-4. As for Cowanesque Valley, their record now sits at an identical 7-4.
Everything went Williamson's way against Cowanesque Valley in their previous meeting back in March, as Williamson made off with a 12-4 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
