Big Game from Moore As Poston Butte Fell 4-2
Starting off the list is Poston Butte's Evan Moore, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Moore rushed for 87 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, and also picked up 46 receiving yards.
Moore must have Apache Junction's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Moore rushed for 106 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries the last time he and the Prospectors duked it out back in October of 2023.

Mason Lloyd Turns in Season-Best Performance
Sadly, Mason Lloyd posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Poston Butte over Apache Junction on Friday. Lloyd rushed for 83 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 108 yards and a touchdown. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in November of 2023. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 60 yards.
Unfortunately for Apache Junction, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Lloyd. When Lloyd last faced the Prospectors back in October of 2023, he rushed for 178 yards and four touchdowns on only 12 carries.

A Constellation of Stars for Poston Butte
Another Poston Butte player making an appearance on this list is Izayah Robinette. He picked up 53 receiving yards and a touchdown. He was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 53 yards.
This season, Robinette has caught those 1 touchdown while averaging 8.4 receiving yards per game.

Aaden Coor and Co. Win Eighth in a Row
Snowflake picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Aaden Coor. Coor turned in nothing short of a gem, making 14 total tackles. He also made an appearance on special teams (luckily for Snowflake): his a 47-yard strike wound up winning them the game.
Eastmark had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Coor it was a similar story. When Coor last faced the Firebirds back in October of 2023, he made 21 total tackles.
