Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Owatonna). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Century Panthers 78-49. Winning may never get old, but the Huskies sure are getting used to it with their 16th in a row.
Owatonna's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jersey Coleman led the charge by going 6-for-8 from beyond the arc to rack up 21 points. Those 21 points gave Coleman a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Abigail Shornock, who went 6-for-10 on her way to 14 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Owatonna smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 12 consecutive matches.
