St. Thomas More Academy found their leader in freshman Winnie Dehring, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 13 steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Dehring has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Adella Dehring, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine steals.
Meanwhile, Thales Academy Apex came tearing into Tuesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 34.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Knights 60-25. With the Titans ahead 33-7 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Thales Academy Apex found their leader in freshman Rosemary Grant, who posted 17 points in addition to eight assists and seven boards. Those 17 points set a new season-high mark for Grant. Kate Sproul was another key player, putting up 11 points and five steals.
