Eustis-Farnam lost to Amherst 61-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. Collin Thompson ran for 59 yards in the defeat.
Anselmo-Merna led D2 District 7 (8 Man) in scoring this week by notching 38 points on Mullen. Troy Gilligan threw for 161 yards and 4 touchdowns and ran for 67 yards during the win.
Angel Boteo was the best receiver in the league this week as Sumner-Eddyville-Miller lost to Brady. Boteo tallied 6 receptions for 102 yards.
Jack Otting-Crandell was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 90 yards on 14 carries as Loomis fell to the Eagles. Teammate Zach Clark added to the ground attack by rushing for 64 yards.
Gilligan put up the best numbers in passing as the Coyotes topped the Broncos. Gilligan's favorite target this week was Keenan Stupka, who caught 4 passes for 84 yards.
Grant Clausen was a key player and the best on defense this week as Sumner-Eddyville-Miller lost to Brady. The 6-foot-0 sophomore.
Anselmo-Merna's Gilligan and Trent Geiser have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading D2 District 7 (8 Man) in both passing and receiving yards. Gilligan has thrown for 502 yards this season, while Geiser has 4 catches for 204 yards. Bertrand's Tyrell Younger leads the league in rushing yards with 390.
